I look forward to this week all year…
It’s our annual family vacation on the Jersey Shore! Each year we head to my Dad’s shore house on the Jersey shore for a week of sunning at the beach, walking the boards, riding rides, and eating until we burst. The best part is that my in-laws will be joining us, as well. The worst part? Now that we live in Seattle it’s an almost 6 hour flight… with a toddler. (conveniently, the hubby is already in NYC and will be meeting us down the shore) Wish me luck!
Once we get there, though, it will be amazing… I mean ah-mazing. I’ll get to relive my childhood with my own little one. And, this year he’ll be old enough to really really enjoy it. He loved it last year. But this year he’s gonna freak out!
A big hug and a thanks to our house sitter & our tag-team dog sitters… It takes a village & we appreciate it. Don’t fear, you’ll be getting souvenirs-o-plenty…
I’m bursting with excitement!! Stay tuned… I’m sure I’ll be posting often! But, I’ve got to make it through the flight, first…
