Patio and grilling season has officially begun…
We christened our friends Toby’s new grill with a fun gathering at his hip town home (just take in that patio pictured above!). What better way to spend time with friends than by the grill, with a cocktail, and watching a killer sunset… But, more on the sunset view later.
I was, of course, on booze duty & was cooking up my favorite vodka & elderflower cocktail. (I posted the recipe over on Hello, Splendor last year… try it. You won’t regret it.)
While I was playing mixologist, Kevin scoped out a great grilled olive recipe in Food Network Magazine that we decided to take for a spin. It was a great snack for a cocktail grilling party or for just nibbling on at home. I highly suggest you try! They were melt-in-your-mouth good. See the Spicy Grilled Olive recipe below.
Spicy Grilled Olives
Ingredients:
Foil
1 cup Olives
1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
1 Minced Garlic Clove
Directions:
1. Toss ingredients on a sheet of foil.
2. Put the ingredients in the center of the foil & make a foil packet: Bring the short ends of the foil together and fold twice to seal. Fold in the sides to seal, leaving room for steam.
3. Grill over medium-high heat, turning often, 15 min.

While snacking & sipping, enjoy some photos from our fun evening at Toby’s (aka: my Twinkie)…

Happy grilling!!
